Meet Liz

The Baker Behind the Blog

I am Liz – a mom of one, stepmom of two, business co-owner, and the unpaid head baker of a kitchen in Gilbert, Arizona that is rarely tidy and never quiet. I started baking sourdough from a starter I picked up off a stranger’s porch on a Buy Nothing group, and somehow turned it into this.

This blog is what I wish I had when I was starting out. Honest, beginner-friendly recipes from someone who bakes between school pickups and work emails, in a kitchen that often looks like a flour bomb went off.
